At Kay Parks/Dan Meyer, we value our place in the greater
Tacoma community and respect the well being of the
environment and the direct needs of local groups and
organizations. We support various organizations and
charities, from little league, to local high school scholarships,
Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, and to Bates Technical
College Career Academy. Below you will discover how we
involve ourselves in this wonderful community of ours.

First Annual Tahoma Award
The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber's first annual Tahoma
Environmental Award was awarded to Kay Parks/Dan Meyer
for excellence in groundwater protection on Earth Day. The
Tacoma business continues to explore and incorporate new
technology to reduce hazardous waste and run-off into
surface and storm water areas. The auto body shop
incorporates pollution protective measures on-site to protect
surface run-off and groundwater along with other key
environmental efforts.

Tacoma Yacht Club Junior Program Donation
A need for a shuttle bus to accommodate the Junior Program's
summer sailing program was met with the purchase of an
old school bus that was mechanically sound but needed
significant cosmetic repair. Kay Parks/Dan Meyer Auto
Rebuild offered to donate their services to clean up the
old bus and give it a much needed paint job. This donation
has brought a lot of joy and comfort to a wonderful
organization, and we are so pleased to have been a part of it!
