Kay Parks started his autobody repair business in 1946 at
the corner of South 9th and "J" streets in Tacoma.
The business has been in its present location on the corner
of South 12th and Cedar Streets since 1969. Dan and Sue
Meyer purchased the business from Kay and Mary Ann
Parks in 1984.

To maintain current technology and facilitites,
Dan and Sue have guided the business through
two major expansions and strive continuously
to update equipment. Today the I-Car Gold
Class (since 1991) facility covers 13,500
square feet.

Kay Parks/ Dan Meyer feels their best asset for their
business is its 20 dedicated employees. A majority of the
employees have more than 20 years in the automotive
repair industry.

Kay Parks/Dan Meyer strives to be a
good neighbor by using the latest
technology and techniques in reducing
hazardous by-products. This provides
a safer and cleaner environment for its
employees, customers, and neighbors.
We have been certified as an EnviroStar
at the Five Star Level.
